Brand activation in FC Utrecht stadium

LiveWall created a fun brand-activation in the FC Utrecht football stadium together with sports marketing agency House of Sports. A few dozens of specially selected fans get the opportunity to connect a heart-rate monitoring wristband to a custom build android app. Making it possible to show the stress-levels of the fans in the grandstands on the big screen in the stadium.

Zorg van de Zaak
As the main sponsor of FC Utrecht, Zorg van de Zaak is always looking for unique ways to create more awareness around the brand. For example, it organizes the theme week "the week of work stress" every year. A week in which the stress that people experience during their work is brought to attention to generate more awareness. In collaboration with House of Sports, LiveWall has set up a brand activation where a group of supporters are being measured to show the stress levels during a football match of FC Utrecht.

Stresslevels
In addition to the fans standing in the stands, also football coach (and former FC Utrecht player) Gert Kruys and major shareholder FC Utrecht Frans van Seumeren receive a heart rate monitor on their wrist. Through a live feed to the screens in the stadium, the stress levels are shown to the supporters present during the match.

App en weergave
LiveWall developed an app that links a heart rate monitor via Bluetooth. The app user can choose which stand he or she is on, so that an average of all users on the stands can be shown on a large screen in the stadium. Check out an example of the view below.
